There aren't a lot of buttons on the console so it is easy for children to figure out (but comes with a remote with more buttons if the parents need it). It plays many formats including mp3 so you can also put in their cd's for music. It also is a good feeling to know that some of the money is going to a good cause. :-)

It made a clicking noise and the DVD wouldn't play. It was intended as a gift for a special-needs child. I had to pay $12 in shipping costs to receive it and another $10 to send it back. I'm disappointed, and I hope anybody else who orders this player gets one that functions.
